Course Commitment
This is a certified course, and students are expected to complete the full program. By enrolling, students agree to fully commit to the course duration.
If you are unable to commit, please do not sign up.
Class Duration: 1 hour per session
Course Duration: 12 weeks (12 sessions)
Class Frequency: Once weekly
Instructor: Olùkọ́ Rọ́mọkẹ́
Time: Student’s availability and open slots in Olúkọ̀ Rọ́mọkẹ́’s schedule.
Missed Classes & Rescheduling
• Students must notify the instructor at least 12 hours in advance if they are unable to attend a scheduled class.
• Missed classes are non-refundable, but makeup sessions may be arranged based on availability.
Payment Method: 50% required upon registration
Certificate of Completion: A printable Certificate of Completion will be issued only to students who complete the full course and meet all learning requirements.
Post-Course Support: Students can ask Yorùbá-related questions anytime, even after completing the course. However, there are other courses available for continuing learning.

Course Objectives
Mastering Yorùbá Greetings is a beginner-friendly course designed to help learners confidently use greetings in the Yorùbá language, one of the most culturally significant aspects of Yorùbá communication. Through interactive lessons, practical examples, and cultural insights, students will gain the skills and confidence to greet others appropriately across different times of day, settings, and social relationships.
By the end of this course, student(s) will be able to:
• Master common Yorùbá greetings for morning, afternoon, and evening.
• Use respectful greetings based on age, status, and relationship.
• Understand how greetings change based on context (e.g., entering a home, meeting elders, etc.)
• Pronounce greetings correctly with tone awareness.
• Recognize and use culturally appropriate responses to greetings.
• Gain insight into the role of greetings in Yorùbá culture and communication.
• Practice greetings through everyday scenarios and short dialogues.
• Participate in interactive activities and assessments to build confidence and fluency.

If this course isn’t the right fit for you, you can sign up for our flexible one-on-one Yorùbá classes, tailored to your schedule and learning needs. These sessions have no fixed end date. Students can continue learning for as long as they wish and stop whenever they see fit.
